DRINK ME

In DRINK ME I explore the glass as a symbol of presence and emotional distance. Each painting is autobiographical, reflecting my attempts to be present, to observe, and to understand the distance between experience and its image.

The series reflects moments of connection that often unfold through habit and repetition. We raise a glass to celebrate or to pause, yet I keep asking whether we truly experience the moment or simply repeat it for memory, for image, for the feed.

The glass, transparent and reflective, reveals this duality. It is both personal and impersonal, fragile and reproducible, sincere and staged.

Through these works I observe how personal rituals shift under the influence of visual culture and how the desire to feel increasingly passes through the need to appear.

This series raises questions without giving answers about the difference between truly living a moment of your life and representing it.
